How We Started

J L Phillips Renewable Energy was established by Jason Phillips in 2009, as he recognized that the growing renewable heating market required a more commercial, professional approach to what was then a cottage industry. Over the past 12 years the company has grown with the industry into a one of the largest installers and specifiers of renewable heating projects in the East Midlands. There have been over 1,000 renewable heating installations completed, mainly within the East Midlands but more recently moving out across the UK.

J L Phillips are primarily installers of renewable heating solutions; we consult, design, specify, install and maintain, premium quality, high-efficiency renewable heating systems. Although we are completely independent of any manufacturer, we do work closely but not exclusively with our manufacturing partners.

We design our installations around high quality equipment from leading manufacturers like Mitsubishi, Nibe, and Ambiente amongst others. All our manufacturing partners offer excellent warranties and after-sales support. This has enabled us to cement our position of longevity and experience in the industry and will continue to do so.

During the consultation period we offer ongoing assistance and advice to the customer. This includes a no obligation quotation and free site visits. Once we have assessed and understood the exact requirements, we will provide a fully-documented proposal. This can include a detailed quotation, hydraulic schematic, plant room layout and cost benefit analysis to support you in making a well-informed decision.

Installation and Commissioning

Our project managers and installation teams have considerable knowledge of both the technology and the system design. All our engineers have many years experience within the renewable heating industry and the commercial heating sector.

Our teams have completed numerous courses relevant to both the product and industry standards. Upon commissioning, the team will provide the customer and their maintenance personnel onsite product training in the control and general upkeep of the equipment. A handover pack containing all the relevant information about the installation will be provided on completion however large or small the installation.

Property Survey

During consultation, our sales manager will provide advice and answer any questions that may be asked.

Once we establish the type of renewable heating solution the customer is interested in, a no obligation quotation is provided followed by free site visits.

Once we have then assessed and understood the exact requirements, we will provide a fully-documented proposal.

Product Installation

Once installation is underway, our project managers and installation teams work with the customer to ensure a smooth transition from their existing heating system to the new technology.

Our teams have considerable knowledge of both the technology and the system design as well as experience within the renewable heating industry and the commercial and domestic heating sector.

Product Maintenance

Once commissioned, our service team are on hand for any call-outs, all of which are free within the 12 months following commissioning.

We always recommend annual servicing to ensure that the system continues to run efficiently and to provide peace of mind that any problems are discovered and resolved quickly.
