We are closely and constantly monitoring the situation and are following all advice and guidelines as laid-out by the government and the World Health Organisation. We are working hard to ensure we are following the best practices that will help us keep our staff and customers safe in these uncertain times. We can confirm that J L Phillips are still in full operation and will update if circumstances change.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
The health and safety of our staff and customers is of the utmost importance to us, so we have put the following measures in place,
J L Phillips Renewable Energy Ltd was established by Jason Phillips in 2009 when he recognised that the growing renewable heating market required a more commercial, professional approach to what was then a cottage industry.
Over the past 10 years, the company has grown with the industry into one of the largest installers and specifiers of renewable heating projects in the country. There have been over 500 installations completed, mainly within the East Midlands but more recently moving out across the rest of the UK.
We are MCS accredited in every renewable technology that we offer – this means that we are audited every year to prove that we continue to maintain the very highest standards in renewable heating. We also hold a large number of other accreditations and memberships. These ensure that our design and installation standard is best practice, that our clients are eligible for funding incentives and that on-site health & safety is correctly observed.
We are also proud members of HIES – The Home Insulation & Energy Systems Contractors Scheme (HIES) which is a Consumer Protection organisation.
Whether you have an existing biomass boiler or heat pump, or a new installation from us, we would recommend that you ensure that your investment is maintained and serviced regularly. This is important in order to:
The Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (Domestic RHI) is a government financial incentive to promote the use of renewable heat. Switching to heating systems that use naturally replenished energy can help the UK reduce its carbon emissions.
People who join the scheme and stick to its rules, receive quarterly payments for seven years for the amount of clean, green renewable heat their system produces.
A Biomass Boiler is a highly efficient wood fuelled System.
Ground Source Heat Pumps use pipes which are buried in the garden to extract heat from the ground.
With over 10 years experience in the renewable energy industry and many more combined years in the heating and plumbing sector, the JLP team can design, install and maintain the most suitable and bespoke heating system for every customer. We design our installations around high quality equipment leaning on our experience and the knowledge of our manufacturing partners. This ensures that we can offer the best solutions for each individual project that we work on.
During consultation, our sales manager will provide advice and answer any questions that may be asked. Once we establish the type of renewable heating solution the customer is interested in, a no obligation quotation is provided followed by free site visits. Once we have then assessed and understood the exact requirements, we will provide a fully-documented proposal.
Once installation is underway, our project managers and installation teams work with the customer to ensure a smooth transition from their existing heating system to the new technology. Our teams have considerable knowledge of both the technology and the system design as well as experience within the renewable heating industry and the commercial and domestic heating sector.
Once commissioned, our service team are on hand for any call-outs, all of which are free within the 12 months following commissioning. We always recommend annual servicing to ensure that the system continues to run efficiently and to provide peace of mind that any problems are discovered and resolved quickly.
